Empowering Education, Enriching Futures: Sarawak’s Path to Excellence

WHAT IS SEEP?

The Sarawak Education Enhancement Programme (SEEP) is designed to improve student academic performance and reduce educational disparities between urban and rural schools. It provides targeted support for educators and school leaders while focusing on students scoring 40% and below in key subjects across all streams, as well as those from underserved areas or at risk of falling behind academically. SEEP also offers free extra classes with personalized support to strengthen students’ foundational understanding.

Through a holistic, data-driven approach, SEEP aims to achieve sustainable progress in Sarawak’s education sector. Beyond traditional tuition, the programme closely monitors student progress to enable timely interventions and continuous improvement. SEEP will officially begin its implementation in April 2025, marking a significant step toward enhancing education quality across Sarawak.
